TMZ reports that Corey Haim had been ill the past couple of days with flu-like symptoms.

Haim reportedly collapsed around 12:50AM in front of his mother who was responsible for calling the cops. The call was made around 12:53AM and Corey was then transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead at 2:15AM.

Haim was staying in his mother’s apartment where cops found four prescription bottles, but no illegal drugs.

Corey’s mother told the cops that he indeed had been battling prescription drug addiction.

The cops still believe that this might of been an accidental overdose.
